A favourite, our delicious Christmas puddings are prepared early in the year, with the mixed peel, sultanas, raisins and currants left to soak in a brandy, rum and Guinness mix. Beautifully wrapped in calico, they are best enjoyed with a warm brandy sauce, eggnog or custard, and make a wonderful addition to your Christmas feasts.
Ingredients: Flour, eggs, apple, sultanas, raisins, currants, brown sugar, breadcrumbs, suet, treacle, mixed peel, almonds, Guinness, brandy, rum, mixed spices, cinnamon, nutmeg.
